CLASSICAL BALLET
In this style, students will follow a syllabus and learn classical technique to build strength and flexibility. This year, we have also made the decision to not participate in exams, however classes will still run through syllabus exercises and progressions to keep up the students’ knowledge of classical technique and terminology. For students that have participated in ballet classes regularly and wish to extend their training, they may advance themselves in a pointe class at their teacher's discretion.
Beginner Ballet - Ages 3-5
Sub Junior Ballet – Ages 5-7
Junior Ballet - Ages 7-9
Intermediate Ballet – Ages 10-12
Sub Senior/Senior Ballet – Ages 13+
Pointe - Students aged 13+ (for advanced dancers, at discretion of teacher)
UNIFORM
Attire: Black leotard , black ballet skirt, and salmon pink ballet tights
Hair: Neat ballet bun
Shoes: Pink ballet shoes or pointe shoes for pointe classes
